What is Darkheart Society?
Darkheart Society is an independent alternative streetwear brand built around bold original concepts, limited releases and artwork inspired by folklore, mythology, horror, alternative culture and the darker side of creativity.
Every collection explores a different part of the Darkheart world.

Do you use AI in your artwork?
Yes. AI-assisted tools form part of the Darkheart Society creative process alongside original creative direction, digital design, editing and production preparation.
Every design begins with a concept and is developed, selected, refined and approved by Darkheart Society before release. AI is used as part of the creative toolkit rather than as a replacement for the ideas, direction and decisions behind each collection.
We believe in being open about how our artwork is created.
Are your product images photographs of the finished item?
Some product images are digital mockups created to show how the finished garment is intended to look.
Mockups are for illustrative purposes, so artwork size, placement and colours may vary slightly on the finished garment. Print size is adjusted proportionally where necessary to suit the garment size.
What T-shirts do you use?
Our current T-shirts use the Gildan Heavy Cotton G5000 / GD05, a classic-fit unisex garment made from 100% cotton in our standard black colourway.
Individual product listings will include any relevant garment information.
How do I choose the right size?
A size guide is included within our T-shirt product images.
For the best fit, lay a T-shirt you already own and like the fit of flat, measure from armpit to armpit, and compare this measurement with our size chart.
Garment measurements may vary by approximately 2.5–3 cm due to normal manufacturing tolerances.
How are the designs printed?
Our garments are currently produced using DTF — Direct to Film — printing.
This allows us to reproduce detailed artwork with strong colour, contrast and fine detail, making it particularly well suited to Darkheart Society designs.
How should I wash my Darkheart Society T-shirt?
To help protect the garment and print:
- Wash inside out.
- Wash at a low temperature.
- Avoid bleach.
- Do not iron directly over the printed design.
- Avoid high-temperature tumble drying where possible.
Treat it well and your darkness should remain intact. 🖤
Are your products made to order?
Many Darkheart Society garments are produced after purchase rather than being held permanently in large quantities.
Where an item is made to order, this will be stated on the product page.
Producing this way allows us to offer more designs while reducing unnecessary stock and waste.
How long will my order take?
Made-to-order garments require production time before they can be dispatched.
Estimated processing information will be shown on the relevant product page where applicable.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive confirmation using the contact details provided during checkout.
Do you keep any products in stock?
Yes. A limited amount of physical stock may be available for selected designs, markets, events and releases.
Online availability may differ from stock available at physical events.
Can I collect my order?
Where local collection is available, the collection option will appear during checkout for eligible orders.
Collection details and instructions will be provided once your order is ready.
Where is Darkheart Society based?
Darkheart Society is an independent UK business based in Hartlepool, North East England.
Do you ship throughout the UK?
Yes. UK delivery options are available during checkout.
Available services and prices will be displayed before you complete your order.
Will the colours look exactly the same as they do on my screen?
We work hard to represent our artwork accurately, but colours can vary slightly depending on screen settings, display brightness, garment material and the printing process.
Small differences between digital artwork, mockups and the finished print are normal.
What are Darkheart Society drops?
Rather than designing everything as one permanent range, Darkheart Society releases artwork through themed collections and drops.
Each collection explores its own visual world while remaining part of the wider Darkheart Society universe.

Are all Darkheart Society designs permanent?
Not necessarily.
Some designs may remain available as part of our main collections, while others may be released as limited editions, seasonal designs or short-run releases.
If a product is limited, we will make this clear when it is released.
Will sold-out limited editions return?
A genuinely limited release may not return once it has sold out or the release period has ended.
Occasionally we may revisit themes or concepts in future collections, but this does not necessarily mean the original design will be reproduced.
What is Enter the Vaults?
Enter the Vaults is where you can explore the different collections that make up Darkheart Society.
Each Vault represents a different theme, influence or corner of the Darkheart universe.

What is The Chronicle?
The Chronicle is our news and journal area.
It is where we share collection announcements, previews, behind-the-scenes updates, events, future releases and anything else stirring within the Society.
Can I see Darkheart Society products in person?
Darkheart Society may appear at selected markets, events and alternative nights.
Details of upcoming appearances will be announced through The Chronicle and our social media pages.
What happens if there is a problem with my order?
If something isn't right with your order, please contact us and include your order number along with details of the issue.
We will review the problem and help resolve it in accordance with our returns, refund and consumer policies.
